Not exactly. Kia’s come a long way.

If you can afford a new Stinger GT, you can afford a 340i… just saying.

Not exactly the same price-wise. Stingers can be around 15-20k less with incentives.
@Colton
But a used 340i could be the same cost as a new Stinger GT2, and you get the option for a manual.

You get a new Stinger with a 100k warranty vs a used car with limited warranty. Different buyers, different needs. And yes, the Stinger is good for what it is.
@Colton
Hey, if buying new works for you. But if it were me, I’d be all about the 340i.
@Colton
I was talking used prices anyway.

You gave up a Mustang for a Kia Stinger?
Honestly, the Stinger isn’t bad. They got some top talent from BMW and Audi to design it.
Great! Then go get one, oh wait.
@Brendan
Just because it didn’t fit me doesn’t make it a bad car

Stinger is a solid car, and Ford doesn’t have the best reputation either. It’s not like he traded a V8 for another V8—he went from sports car to grand tourer.
@Keelan
Their curb weights are about the same though.
@Keelan
Stinger’s basically an Audi clone.
@Keelan
My Mustang always reminded me it was built by Ford. Had a brake light issue that wouldn’t quit thanks to water getting into the BCM. Ended up draining it and a bunch of water just poured out. Took care of my brake light issue but it was a mess.
@Feng
Ford isn’t ‘the best’ but they’re solid. I’ve had fewer issues with my Fords than I ever did with my old Dodges. AC always going out, weird engine noises, and so on. You rarely see Mustangs on here with those types of issues.

Had to trade my Mustang for a 4-door after having kids, ended up with a Stinger GT1 and love it. Miss driving a manual but the Stinger holds up pretty well. Planning to go back to a Mustang someday, hopefully not an electric version though!
@Magnus
There are lots of 4-doors I’d get before looking at a Kia, but glad it’s working for you.

No regrets. Toddlers travel heavy, so I needed the trunk space. Didn’t want a CVT or a Charger either, so Stinger it was.
@Magnus
Or… keep the Mustang and just get a second car?
