Sometimes you just have to take the risk… Who’s done it?

I took a big risk and pushed my car further than I probably should have. Curious if anyone else has stories about driving on empty or close to it?

I call this ‘range edging.’

How far do you usually push it?

I’ve never gone below 5%. That’s already too nerve-wracking for me.

You’re missing out! Everyone eventually ends up in the 0% club. It’s a rite of passage.

@Indigo
I was sweating when I saw 30 miles left the other day!

My partner was panicking when we had 30 miles left and were stuck in standstill traffic.

At least in an EV, you’re not using any energy while just sitting there!

@Indigo
Try explaining that to someone who’s mid-panic. It doesn’t go well! :man_facepalming:

Once you hit 0%, you still have about 20 miles left, depending on conditions.

I made it 8 miles to a charger in freezing weather once. So there’s that, as long as your battery is healthy.

Doing this in Unbridled mode? Bold move. Let it rip!

No compromises!

I bet OP isn’t responding because they’re busy calling roadside assistance.

Not this time! I just finished a 1100 km trip. Got to my destination with 0% and negative 10 km showing because I didn’t want to stop again. Did the whole trip in 12 hours and 30 minutes.

@Antonio
Wow, you must’ve been running on the 12v battery by the end!

It was all thanks to the EV gods powering me through!

Driving in the rain and using Unbridled mode? You’re metal! :metal:

I’ve been down to 10%, but I don’t think my anxiety could handle hitting 0%.

You’re braver than I could ever be. :sweat_smile:
