Totally get it. I’m picky about my car too, and my partner knows how detail-obsessed I am. Sometimes it’s worth spending the money just for peace of mind. Good luck!
Put your purse and heels in the trunk and go barefoot.

Nice thought, but I don’t wear heels or carry a purse, and the worst scratches are on the passenger side anyway. This is from repair and tint people being careless, not us.
A heat gun might work on these scratches. I’d check out a few videos first, as it can slightly melt the plastic to hide them.

I’ve seen those videos. I might give it a go, but I’ll have replacement parts handy just in case.
Someone needs to make a protective film for interior plastics. My Mustang is the same—one little scratch, and it’s noticeable. Heat gun can help on small scratches, but nothing really gets them all out.
@Luther
Exactly! I was just thinking about some kind of film or cover. It’d be great to have something replaceable that always keeps it looking fresh.
I’m a detailer, and honestly, replacement is your only option. Plastic doesn’t have any miracle fix. Maybe try a deep clean first to see if that helps a bit.

Thanks for the advice! I was actually considering reaching out to detailers. I cleaned it thoroughly, but sadly, it’s all still there.

You’re welcome! Hope it helps.
Order replacement parts. Getting plastic back to a factory finish is nearly impossible.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Thanks for confirming.
Following this. I’ve got the same problem.
I used to think replacing was a hassle but it’s actually pretty straightforward with the right tools.

Really? I thought it might be more involved. I’ll give it a closer look.
@Cary
Just be sure you’re ready to handle any small adjustments if needed. Sometimes it’s not as easy as just a few screws!

Got it. Thanks for the heads-up!
If you replace them, get both sides so they match. No sense having one new and one old.
