A truck hit me. A lifted Dodge Ram turned too early into oncoming traffic and broke my headlight

It could have been worse; I always try to think of it that way.

Absolutely, I’m relieved that no one was hurt.

That’s definitely true. I had a minor accident with mine, and even though it spent two weeks in the shop, I’m just thankful it wasn’t totaled. The most important thing is that everyone walked away healthy and unharmed. You can always get another Mustang, but you can’t replace a person.

As long as it was just an EcoBoost, it doesn’t really matter, right?

I thought it was going to say “hydroplaned at 1 mph.”

Hydroplaned while the car was still in park.

This exact thing happened to me earlier this week too; same type of damage, and it was also a lifted F-250. I got the estimate from the dealership today since the other guy didn’t have insurance and is offering to pay cash. Right now, he’s looking at around $8k.

Repairable without major concerns for long-term issues. It could have been worse. Glad you’re safe; things can be fixed or replaced.

Looks like it’s the week for getting hit by lifted trucks, haha. Glad things worked out for you. I’m still waiting to see which side the insurance takes in my case.

My car was also hit by a negligent driver, so I understand your frustration. Sorry to hear about yours :pensive:.

How could he have missed the bright yellow Mustang?
