I get it if it’s a nicely built or show car, maybe I’d check in on it. But why would someone else have it on their car? Genuinely curious.
Today, I drove next to an EcoBoost with the owner’s social tags on the window. I was curious and checked it out, thinking maybe it had mods I couldn’t see (EcoBoosts have potential, after all). But the Instagram just had some generic photos, like a Craigslist ad, and the car was mostly stock. So… why?
Y’all are being so dramatic … In my area, people do it to make car friends. I don’t have one on my car, but I’ve messaged people and joined groups to drive with just by seeing their tags. Plus, it’s cool to follow someone’s build.
Where I’m from, people do this with their dad’s old truck that’s lifted, with LED lights slapped on. It’s not really a build, and it’s definitely not ad-worthy.
