I found a 08 gt/cs manual for 12k. It is a clean title with 65k miles and aftermarket exhaust. This will be my daily for atleast 5 years and am driving 15-20k a year. Are these reliable I will do the expected maintenance but I don’t know the maintenance history of the car currently.
If it’s got a clean title, that’s a solid deal. These cars are pretty reliable. Only real issue I had with mine was the alternator dying, but that was an easy fix.

Good to know! Planning to check it out on Saturday.

Nice! Just a heads up—2008 was when Ford changed the spark plug design. Depending on when this one was built, it might have those annoying two-piece plugs instead of the single-piece ones. Mine had the two-piece ones, and one of them snapped when I had them changed. Dealer had to get it out. New plugs made a big difference, though, runs way smoother now.
Super reliable. My stock engine made it to 240k miles with no major issues.

They’re reliable, but you gotta remember it’s a 17-year-old car now. Definitely worth getting it checked out by a mechanic before buying.
Looks clean!
If you look into the specs, the 4.6L in the 2008 Mustang was one of Ford’s best engines. As long as you keep up with maintenance, these can go well past 250k miles. Of course, you’ll need to replace stuff along the way, but parts are cheap and easy to find. I’m no expert, but I’ve done my research and the 2008 and 2013-2014 models seem to be the most reliable Mustangs overall.
Had an ‘09 GT and the auto transmission went out at 80k. Other than that, just had to replace the alternator.
