Should I go for this 2012 GT/CS manual?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been lurking for a while but this is my first post. I’m thinking about buying a 2012 GT/CS manual. It has 103,000 miles, no accidents, and has had 3 owners. The previous owners didn’t modify it, and the carfax shows that they all kept up with the maintenance. I had a 2007 GT/CS when I was younger, and I’ve been looking for a new one for some time now. Any thoughts?

It makes me a bit wary that it’s so cheap, especially with almost 40% off its original asking price. For example, there’s another 2012 GT/CS with 114k miles, 6 previous owners, and an accident on record, and they’re still asking $17k for it. There might be something wrong with this one that isn’t listed.

That’s what I’m thinking too. It’s been at the dealer for over 60 days, so maybe they just want to get rid of it.

I’d recommend getting it inspected by a third party before committing. It could be a good deal if everything checks out.

It looks like the last owner didn’t report anything for almost 50k miles. They might have done all the maintenance themselves, but you can’t be sure. I’d say it’s worth looking at, but it’ll probably need some maintenance. You could ask the dealer to take care of some of that before you buy, like changing all the fluids and putting in new spark plugs.

I bought a 2011 GT with 41k miles for $17.5k. Seems like you could do better since this one has 100k miles.

Did you get it from a dealer or marketplace? I’m looking for an s197 5.0 myself.

@Hale
I got it from a dealership.

I was checking every day. Mine was on the showroom floor for just 2 days before I got it. There are still good deals out there, my dude.
