My first muscle car, found stashed away in a old couple’s garage.
Only 12,000 km on it and bone stock for my modding pleasures. Only things that have been done to it is tinted windows and they added a poly coat protection to it last year that rly gives it that glossy look.
Suggestions?
I want to drop h pipes and a borla exhaust this spring followed by headers and a set of blacked out rims.

It’s actually competition orange, I have to take pictures on cloudy days or else it comes out red lol sweet ride tho I like those rims
I had that feeling from the original pic, but the second one you posted definitely looks red. Can’t go wrong with orange either.
Dont do anything you cant undo. Always keep the OEM parts in a clean safe place. Have fun. Beautiful fckng car!!
If it was my car, I wouldnt do a thing except save my limited money for repairs and good fckng maintenance. Don’t slack on maintenance. Dont slack on addressing everything out of the norm. Enjoy man! Drive safe
Yup. Lowered on Steeda progressive springs, an inch all around. Along with a ton of other steeda suspension parts.
Care to share? I have the braces and vertical links from the stop the hop kit waiting to be installed, I want the K brace and strut tower brace at some point. Not sure what spring/strut combo I want
@Marston
Sure. So I should start by saying that I’m a completely daily/street driven car that sees all seasons, so I can’t go crazy with the suspension the way I’d really want to, but I still go to Mexico often with the car. So suspension-wise I currently have:
Steeda pro active shocks/struts + progressive sports springs,
Steeda billet rear shock mounts,
Steeda camber plates,
Steeda jounce bumper,
Steeda subframe braces + subframe alignment kit + lower control arm spherical bearing + diff bushing insert kit,
Steeda vertical link w/ poly bushing,
Steeda adjustable rear toe link.
Additional parts to get to really tie in the build are:
Sway bar + end links,
Front Roll Center & Bumpsteer Correction Kit (for cars lowered an inch or more).
I have plans to get the additional parts next year.
I notice you have a '22 so your suspension is already much better than a performance pack '15-'17, which the GT-CS isn’t. What trim do you have?
@Hux
GT Premium non PP. I want to correct body roll I feel at autocross and I feel like I could have a cleaner launch hence the stop the hop. I also don’t like the rear squat on accelerating so I’m hoping springs and struts will help with that and the roll
@Marston
Ah, a non PP. I feel like upgrading sway bars and lowering your car will definitely help along with the STH kit. I wanted my lowered suspension to be dialed in that’s why I went with the list of parts from earlier.
It is but I think it’s factory since it only has 3,500 miles on it
Someone else posted the 18+ GT-CS just like yours with the wheels that are standard on that generation if you wanna scroll and see em. Personally I like the 15-17 more lol.
@Shae
Oh snap, that’s a 18+ GT-CS with the 15-17 GT-CS wheels! Did you swap them out or did it come like that? I could be wrong but I think the 18+ GT-CS wheels are a little different.
