New App Update—Widgets Are Here!

Just got the new app update, and I’m loving the widgets! Now it even shows charging status. So helpful!

We really needed a climate start option, not just charging and lock/unlock.

I’m sure it’ll come eventually. Personally, I love the lock button! I put it on my Home Screen, so I can lock the car without using the key.

@Enrique
Doesn’t it have auto-lock when you walk away?

Yeah, but sometimes I don’t fully trust it, so I like to lock it myself.

You can set it so the car honks when it locks. The Mach-E horn is loud, so it’s hard to miss!

@Enrique
You can just press the lock button above the door after closing it to manually lock. No need for a widget or the key fob.

I know, but I just like having the widget for convenience. Just like you want a climate button, I like the ease of having the lock on my screen.

Why are you telling people how they should use their car? Saying, “We needed this, not that”—no, that’s just what you want. Not everyone feels the same way.

@Khai
I wasn’t trying to tell anyone what to do. Just sharing a tip for locking manually without using the phone or key. OP wanted to lock manually, so I thought it’d be helpful.

That’s strange. On my Apple Watch, I have climate start, charging, unlock/lock, chirp, and location all available.

This update is pretty limited. Really hoping this is just the start of more features to come.

Meanwhile, Android users are over here like, “Wait, you guys actually get updates?”
