BTW, what do the 350 or 500 refer to in the GT name? I assume displacement, but I’d love to know for sure.

As it was explained to me, the ‘GT’ refers to ‘Gran Turismo’ or ‘Gran Tourer,’ and the ‘350’ and ‘500’ don’t really stand for anything. Most people assume the numbers represent horsepower, but that’s incorrect. From what I know, the numbers were a way to differentiate the small block 350 from the big block 500. Both cars are absolute monsters though. Some of the best platforms there are, no doubt
