No cats, no resonator, everything else is stock. The sound is unreal!
You’re making me want to take mine out of storage! It’s been sitting for winter here in West Texas, and it needs new tires. That Voodoo engine is pure magic—best sounding Ford engine since the old 289s.
@Granger
Totally agree! A HiPo 289 with a 4-barrel carb and headers winding out made pure music.
Man, I miss mine. It’s currently stuck in performance shop jail.
Oh man, I really want one now.
Okay, now I know you live in my town! That 33 West ramp off Scott’s Lawn is one of my favorite spots.

How did you get that white stripe and gear knob? Also, yours sounds sharper than mine!
The steering wheel is from eBay (carbon and Alcantara), and the shift knob is from American Muscle. I’ve since switched to a white one from Raceseng.
@Rohan
Heads up for anyone considering it—the eBay steering wheel is super hard with no give. The angles on the grip aren’t comfortable either. The stock wheel is much better.

Appreciate the feedback!
@Rohan
Just noticed your GoPro placement—such a smart spot!

Best POV I’ve seen so far for sure.

What’s the spot? Might want to try it myself!
Sounds incredible, brother

You’re wild for ripping it around this time, though. There’s always a cop sitting in the median after the footbridge.
@Ellery
Lol, I know! I actually got pulled over there once. Shoot me a private message!
How cold is it there, and what tires are you running? On my GT, the 1-2 shift gets wild when it’s below 50 degrees with Pilot Sport 4S tires.

This was last winter. I was running Super Sports, and they never spun.

I’m running Atturo AZ850s now, and they’re great in any weather. Tons of sidewall—almost like a drag tire. Drop the pressure at the track, and you’ll have no trouble hooking up. I’ve got 285/45/19s on 19x8.5 rims.
@Quinlan
I’m just talking about winding out first gear and shifting into second—wheel spin city. I’ve got 275/40R19s on 19x10s, and these cars get wild when the torque management eases up in second gear.
