Need some help! My car says 27% battery, but the FordPass app shows 32% and the location is wrong. Also, the controls aren’t working, and it doesn’t seem to recognize that it’s plugged into the charger. That said, I think charging is actually working.
Does this sound like a FordPass issue, or could it be my car’s LTE transponder acting up?
It’ll probably fix itself by tomorrow. This happened to me a month ago—I was ready to start pulling fuses, then it just randomly started working again while I was at work.

Ok, thanks! The issue started yesterday, so I’ll give it a couple more days before I start messing with it.
Are you using iPhone or Android? Also, do you have a DNS or VPN-based ad blocker like AdGuard? Those have been known to block Ford’s servers, causing sync issues.
When you’re close to the car, can you use Bluetooth to pop the frunk/hatch or roll the windows up/down?
When Ford updated the FordPass app last year, they said it now provides real-time data directly from the car. If you’re seeing incorrect updates, something is interrupting communication—either your device, Ford’s servers, or the Mach-E itself.
You’re not alone, though—someone else reported the same issue last night, and it resolved itself after about 2 hours.
If it’s still acting up in the morning, try doing a Low Voltage Battery (LVB) disconnect. Just unplug it for 5 minutes and reconnect. That should reboot the car and clear any bad data links. If that doesn’t work, a service visit might be needed, but I doubt it’s a hardware issue.

Weirdly, it fixed itself. The issue started while charging at work two days ago, then the app stopped updating and wouldn’t let me stop charging remotely. The refresh rate was super slow. Then last night, I plugged it in at home, and about 20 minutes into charging, it finally refreshed correctly. No idea why.
For reference, I’m on Android, and I don’t use a DNS or ad blocker.
