Does anyone else check tire pressure as often as speed?

Bro, grab sixth gear! Why are you chilling at 3200 rpm? That’s gotta be annoying :cry:

The sensors are usually wrong, so don’t obsess over it.

Mine check out fine with my handheld gauge and the ones on the air machines.

Mine are always about 2 psi lower than the digital gauges I keep in both cars. I trust those more, and they match other calibrated gauges within 0.2 psi. The front left always reads 1-2 psi lower despite being aired to the same PSI with an auto cutoff inflator. I use the car’s values as an estimate. Maybe yours are better calibrated than mine.

I check mine once a month, but I don’t drive it daily. I always check the pressure before going on mountain runs.

I usually have my gauges displayed but often flip to see tire pressure.

I check it at least weekly, especially in cold weather.

This is why I drive an old car without TPMS. What you don’t know won’t hurt you, maybe.

I only check it when I leave work or home to make sure I didn’t get a puncture. Where I work, people get flats pretty often.

I had a flat tire one day after getting new tires just a week and a half earlier. Now I check my tire pressure before I drive off.

Always.

Me, because every time I turn my car on, I see the message ‘tire pressure sensor failed’ and have to press reset.

All the time!

Well, my '14 Mustang just says ‘low’ if it detects low pressure (sometimes it randomly shows this for a minute), and in Canada, Subarus barely have tire pressure sensors, so I don’t get to look at screens like that often.

I only check because I live in a neighborhood under construction. It’s how I know when I have a nail in my tire. It’s happened twice and neither time was repairable. RIP.

Virgins and risk-averse people mainly. They can be both.

After losing a tire because I didn’t notice it was flat, I check the tire pressure every time I drive over anything that’s not perfect asphalt. If it seems crazy to you, be thankful you live in a place where the roads are regularly cleaned.

@Christian
It’s PTSD.

@Christian
I hate the warning sound and light. I immediately check to see if there’s an issue with my tires. It feels like I’m replacing them every year because of the bad road conditions.

My rim is cracked :rage:
