Did it! What do you think?

Finally finished the project, but now I’m looking for a good place in or around Ohio to get a full Kooks long tube exhaust installed. Doing it on jack stands just doesn’t sound fun.

It’s funny how people think about these things! I’d feel way more comfortable swapping an exhaust than doing 4v cams with the engine still in the car. Good job on finishing this!

It’s not really about how hard it is. Even this wasn’t too bad—it’s just like putting together a really pricey LEGO set once you get the Ford service manual. I just don’t want to spend hours on the ground wrestling with bolts. It’s easier to pay someone with the right tools.

@Grier
Totally get that! Headers can be a huge pain to deal with.

This is so exciting to see! Great work.

WOW!! Seriously amazing job here.

This looks incredible!

Congrats, this is super impressive.

Looks awesome :+1:t3:. Quick question about the high ram intake—does the hood close all the way, or did you need to lower the engine mounts? Planning a similar setup with a ported intake and injectors this spring.

@Benn
Thanks! It’s actually just a standard (AFS ported) Boss 302 intake, so clearance isn’t an issue. Even the strut bar fits without any problems. It’s only the Cobra Jet intake that sometimes has clearance issues.

Can we get a cold start video?

Soon! I still need to prime the oil system, check for leaks, and fill it up with coolant. Plus, it’s freezing out right now, so it’d be an actual cold start!
