So I’m deciding between a 6th gen Camaro ZL1 and a 19-23 Mustang Mach 1 with a whipple supercharger. Both would be 6MT. I’m looking for something dynamic and fun to drive, and the Camaro seems to be better for that. But I also want something practical, and I think the Mustang has the edge there. It’s not going to be a daily driver but I plan to drive it as much as I can. Any thoughts? I’m also looking at '24 Mustangs, but they don’t seem as exciting.
Can’t go wrong either way. Pick what you like best.
I’d go with the Mach 1.
For practicality, I’d say ZL1 since you’d get warranty coverage. Probably not the case with the Whippled Mach 1.
Chevy feels soulless to me, and their interiors aren’t great compared to Fords. You might want to check out a Charger instead.
I’d buy the Mach 1 and Whipple it myself. You never really know what the previous owner did.
Why Whipple? Have you used them before? If you keep the ZL1 stock, the blower is small and tends to overheat. Also, have you test-driven these specific trims?

Whipple just seems to be a reliable option for supercharging Mustangs. I would keep the ZL1 stock. I haven’t driven these specific models but I have driven a Camaro SS and Mustang GT.
GT500 is better than both.

S550 GT500?
Some bad info here. The Camaro is more dynamic? The Mustang is more practical? Come on, you don’t know what you’re talking about. I think you’d be happier with a Honda.

I’m mostly comparing the Mustang’s larger trunk space and better visibility with the Camaro’s known steering performance.
@Frankie
I’ve had a 2020 Camaro LT1, a 2014 SS Convertible, and a 2017 Mustang GT with a Phase 2 Roush (700+hp). I’ve driven a few others and honestly, unless you’re getting a 1LE Camaro, I’d pick a supercharged GT over any Camaro, except maybe the rare Z28 with the 7.0 engine. The SS 1LE handles amazingly out of the box, but the power from the supercharged 5.0s in the GT is incredible, and the GT’s visibility is so much better.
