Using a GT350 for drag racing? Yeah, kinda strange, but it’s still cool to see it out there. People judge too much on here, acting like they track their GT350Rs regularly.

Good take! I was a bit unsure about the mods at first, but if it’s seeing the track, then yeah, go all out! Enjoy it!
Making a 350R into a drag car… kinda odd, right?

People here get too judgmental. It’s his car—let him do his thing!

All he’s saying is that it’s an odd choice.

Sure, he can do what he wants, but people are allowed to have opinions. Some mods make you wonder why they got a GT350 in the first place. If the plan was to make it a drag car, a GT would have been cheaper and faster out of the box.
@Harlow
Some people just don’t care about the money and want the 350 badge, I guess.

But if you change everything, is it really still a 350?

Feels like a waste of a GT350R…

Mustangs are solid for quarter-mile runs. I have setups for both drag and track.
@Raj
Makes more sense on a 5.0, but I get the wheels and tires for function.

Why does it have to be a 5.0? It’s just another setup for a GT350. People like to get worked up over someone else’s build.
@Raj
5.0 is just easier for big power with boost.
@Raj
Not my car, just sharing my opinion.
@Raj
When you post online, expect opinions. It’s a Shelby built for tracks, so criticism comes with the territory.

The Voodoo actually handles boost well, better than a stock 5.0 for power.

You serious? The 5.2 Voodoo isn’t as durable as the 5.0.
@Stevie
Pretty sure you’re mistaken.

Keep telling yourself that, buddy.
