They’re asking $59,260. Should I counter with a lower offer? Is it even worth it? Personally, I think it is, but I’d like to hear your thoughts.
Wow, I paid that much for my 350.
I downloaded the window sticker.
It’s a 10-speed with 400A, Nite Pony, and Active Exhaust. No Magneride, though (which really affects ride quality and sportiness), and no Recaros. For a '24, the price is fair since it’s not a manual.
The window sticker shows that the listed price is actually MSRP. You can decide if you want to buy at this price, counter, or look at other Mustangs. Personally, I don’t care about the Recaros, but since the extra money is for the 10-speed instead of the 401A package or Magneride, I’d pass.
At this price, I’d go for a 600A Dark Horse if you can find one, though those are hard to get as most are dealer-ordered with specific options.
What options does it have? Brembos? Active Exhaust? Looks like it has PP and Nite Pony.

The 2025s will be more expensive. Try for 10% off MSRP and aim for $56k flat.

I paid $57k for that setup in yellow.
If the website provides the window sticker, download it and compare the prices with the online builder to make sure they match.
Yikes. The S650 models are such a waste of money right now. The 2018-2023 models are a better value for essentially the same car.

I get that. I just really like the interior of the '24. Maybe I should wait a year until they’re priced closer to the 18-23 GTs.
@Arin
Yeah, I’d wait at least until tuning is available for them. The 10-speeds definitely need a transmission tune, and considering how well the Gen 3 5.0 responded to tuning, especially flex-fuel tuning, I’d hold off.
It should be at least 10% off MSRP.

These things are overpriced like Jeeps. It should be 20-25% less.
This car should be around $45k, not $60k.

I don’t get it. The base price of this car is $45k with no options. There’s room to negotiate, but I don’t see how you’re expecting 20-25% off.
@Lennox
Let me explain—I’m saying the MSRP for these cars should be 20-25% lower. They’re just way overpriced.

I get it now. I mean, yeah, who wouldn’t want a brand-new sports car for mid to high $40k?
@Lennox
Exactly, that’s what they were going for 2 years ago.
If the options are really important to you, go for it. You might be able to get a better deal, but it’s unlikely you’ll find that exact configuration again.
Offer $54k out the door.

That’s a pretty big jump, but good luck with that offer.
I remember when 2014 Shelbys were going for like $50k, and I thought it was great. Now that I have an adult job, these are the GT prices. It’s sad.
